Chris began playing guitar at the age of 12. By 16, he was teaching and performing around the St Louis Area. At 18 he was touring with a rock band opening for national acts.

His bands have opened for Fear Factory, Obituary, Ted Nugent, Faster Pussycat, Enuff Znuff, and Pat Travers to name a few. He has also performed Jazz in restaurants and festivals all while teaching for the last 33 years. He has past students who have record deals, toured, teach, run their own music stores and have appeared in the Rockband video game. He has also helped students get into Berkley college of music including winning scholarships.

Chris is big on playing technique, music theory, ear training, creativity with writing songs and improvising, reading music and charts and most of all Fun. He teaches all styles of Guitar, Bass and Ukulele including: Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz, Funk, R&B, Flamenco, Classical, Pop, Country and Bluegrass. He has a background and knowledge teaching blind students, stroke patients, students on the autism spectrum and students with myotonic muscular dystrophy as well.
